## Description

Snow, spruce and the long ribbon of the Alaska Highway frame Beaver Creek Airport (IATA YXQ, ICAO CYXQ), Canada's westernmost airfield, at kilometre 1870.6 of the highway on the Yukon–Alaska border. Operated by the Yukon government, it works a single gravel runway of about 1,141 m for charter, medevac and resupply flights serving a community of barely a hundred people; there are no scheduled passenger or cargo services.
