## Description

Baidoa Airport (BIB/HCMB) in Somalia's Bay region has a 2,940-metre asphalt runway that was comprehensively rehabilitated in June 2022 and can now safely accept larger aircraft. It carries UN and humanitarian flights as well as around 30 commercial flights a week, roughly 20 of them from Mogadishu, giving it genuine freight relevance — above all for relief supplies and general provisioning cargo.
