## Description

Bacău wants to turn its passenger growth into a cargo business. George Enescu International Airport (IATA: BCM, ICAO: LRBC), the main airport of eastern Romania's Moldavia region, handled a record 559,000 passengers in 2024, flown by Dan Air, Wizz Air and Aeroitalia to around 15 destinations led by London Luton, Rome, Milan, Dublin and Turin — largely diaspora routes.
