## Description

The Adrar plateau lives from desert tourism, dates and mining logistics, and none of the three fill an aircraft hold — which is why Atar International (ATR/GQPA) handles almost no freight. Its traffic consists of domestic services to Nouakchott plus seasonal winter charters from Europe carrying visitors to the caravan towns of Chinguetti and Ouadane.
