Sitting at over 3,100 metres above sea level, the Arampampa strip in the Bolivian highlands of Potosí department is a simple landing ground with no scheduled service, no freight handling and no IATA or ICAO code. At that altitude the payload of light propeller aircraft is severely limited anyway, and use is confined to occasional supply and air ambulance flights. It has no cargo role: air freight for the region routes through Cochabamba Jorge Wilstermann (CBB) or Bolivia's main cargo airport, Viru Viru in Santa Cruz (VVI).
