A 1,300-metre paved runway (12/30) and an on-site customs post make Annemasse Aerodrome (ICAO: LFLI, IATA: QNJ, formally Aérodrome Marcel Bruchon) one of the leading general and business aviation fields in the French-Swiss border region. It lies roughly 12 km east of Geneva in Haute-Savoie and opened in the late 1940s; today the traffic is corporate flights, flight training, helicopter operations and parachuting. There are no scheduled or freighter services and no cargo terminal — the customs post covers cross-border passenger and business movements rather than commercial goods clearance. Day and night lighting plus 100LL and Jet A1 refuelling make the field usable for ad-hoc charter and small courier consignments. For regular air freight in the Geneva/Annemasse area, Geneva Airport (GVA) is the obvious address: about 15 road kilometres away, with a cargo terminal, customs clearance and both belly and freighter capacity. Lyon-Saint Exupéry (LYS), some 160 km west, is the fallback inside EU customs territory — relevant because the Swiss customs border runs between Annemasse and Geneva.
