## Description

The 386th Air Expeditionary Wing runs Ali Al Salem Air Base (ICAO OKAS) as the United States Air Force's main airlift and logistics node in Kuwait, moving an estimated 90 percent of supplies destined for US forces in Kuwait and Iraq — all of it military traffic rather than commercial air freight.
