Around 825,000 passengers passed through Aktion National Airport (PVK/LGPZ) in 2024, up roughly 7.5 per cent — and that figure is the one that matters for freight, because everything leaving Preveza flies as belly cargo on passenger services. The airport serves Preveza in western Greece and the island of Lefkada, sharing its site with a Hellenic Air Force base in a joint civil-military arrangement.
