## Description

Around 40,000 passengers a year pass through Agen-La Garenne Airport (IATA: AGF, ICAO: LFBA), almost all of them on private and business flights: the field at Le Passage, about 3 km south-west of Agen, has had no scheduled airline service since the Paris-Orly link closed in June 2020. It serves general aviation and flight training in the Lot-et-Garonne, the heart of France's prune-growing Agenais. There is no commercial cargo handling on site. Air freight for the region is routed through Toulouse-Blagnac (TLS), about 100 km east, or Bordeaux-Mérignac (BOD), roughly 130 km west.
