## Description

Grain, cattle and some of the country's finest pheasant country surround Aberdeen in north-eastern South Dakota. Its airport (IATA: ABR, ICAO: KABR) runs daily Delta Connection flights (operated by SkyWest) to the Minneapolis–St. Paul hub (MSP) but handles no air cargo of its own. Freight for the region trucks up from Sioux Falls, about 200 miles (320 km) south at Joe Foss Field (FSD). Fittingly for the hometown of Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum, Aberdeen keeps its freight on the road rather than in the air.
