# Quikjet Cargo Airlines (IATA QO)

## Overview

Quikjet Cargo Airlines Pvt. Ltd., based in Bengaluru and trading as Quikjet Airlines, is an Indian all-cargo carrier. Founded in 2007, it began freighter operations with a Boeing 737-400SF on 16 February 2016, ceased flying in 2017 and returned to service in January 2023 after India's civil aviation authority DGCA issued a new air operator certificate in December 2022. Since 2022 the Indian logistics entrepreneur Cyrus Guzder has been the majority shareholder; Ireland's ASL Aviation Holdings remains a shareholder and lists Quikjet as an associate airline of its group.

Quikjet runs a pure freighter model with no belly capacity: ACMI lift for integrators and e-commerce customers, its own scheduled freighter services, and domestic and international charters. According to the carrier, the fleet consisted of two Boeing 737-800BCF with a 22-tonne payload each as of November 2024. The domestic network covers the daily rotations Hyderabad-Delhi-Bengaluru-Hyderabad and Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi. On 1 February 2026 Quikjet served Dubai World Central for the first time; the routing BLR-DWC-MAA-DWC-BLR links Bengaluru and Chennai with the Gulf.

For forwarders Quikjet matters mainly as a capacity provider inside India and across the subcontinent. The carrier explicitly names dangerous goods, hazmat and live animals among the traffic it accepts and advertises outsize and high-value cargo handling. Quikjet offers no shipment tracking of its own; bookings and enquiries run through commercial@quikjet.co.in and the station offices in Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The IATA designator is QO. The three-digit air waybill prefix is not conclusively documented: the company announced prefix 723 in 2016, while the IATA Clearing House member list of 6 August 2026 shows 915. Until this is resolved, forwarders should confirm the prefix with the carrier.
