## Overview

Etihad Cargo is the freight and logistics arm of Etihad Airways PJSC, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, based in Abu Dhabi. The parent is a Public Joint Stock Company established by Emiri Decree in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi; the cargo arm has been in operation since 2004. Etihad Cargo is not a separate airline: freighter and belly services run under the parent's designators, IATA code EY, ICAO code ETD and AWB prefix 607.

The operating model combines dedicated freighters, belly capacity on the passenger fleet and a road feeder network. As at 10 September 2026 Etihad lists five Boeing 777F, alongside a passenger fleet of 47 Boeing 787, 36 Airbus A320, nine Boeing 777, eight Airbus A350 and seven Airbus A380. The carrier has ordered Airbus A350F aircraft; no delivery date is confirmed. Trucking services run from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, Bahrain, Dammam, Kuwait and Muscat, and from the European and North American gateways.

The single hub is Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi (AUH). From there Etihad Cargo serves destinations across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. Freighter services operate to Ezhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Riyadh, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris among others.

For forwarders the relevant special products are PharmaLife (pharmaceuticals, active and passive, minus 80 to plus 30 degrees Celsius), FreshForward (perishables), LiveAnimals and SkyStables (live animals and horses), SecureTech, SafeGuard, FlightValet and AirMail. Etihad Cargo holds the IATA CEIV certifications for Pharma, Fresh, Live Animals and Lithium Batteries. The carrier reports having moved around 703,000 leg tonnes in 2025, nine percent more than the year before.
